About Evan Hawkins
Evan Hawkins is a native of Richmond, Virginia who currently resides in Madison, WI while pursuing a MFA from UW-Madison. He received his bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in printmaking from the University at Buffalo in 2011. At the University, he was the recipient of the Morrison Scholarship and the Eugene Gaier Printmaking Award. His prints have been included in print exchanges in Derbyshire, England and Seattle, WA and have been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Western New York, Madison, WI and Kansas City, MO, at venues such as the Anderson Gallery, Echo Art Fair 2013, Big Orbit Gallery, and Hallwalls, Olean Public Library, UMKC Gallery of Art and Gallery Seven.
